Bug Description
Unity comes with a lot of scopes for Internet based data sources, but ignores much of the metadata stored in local files.
For example, the XMP metadata stored in documents, videos, and images is for the most part ignored.
Only the most basic data that is provided by relatively ancient (posix & exif) standards are made visible.
Unity holds a lot of promise to be a next generation interface to the data on our machines, but has mostly stuck with the status quo in regards to local data.
