When 2 or more screens of the same application are open, spread mode in Unity is activated when the app-icon is clicked in the launcher. A close button appears above each screen which can close that screen.
When clicked on the close button on an application which throws up a dialog upon closing, the actual closing is non-functional. The message flickers on the screen and then disappears.
Commin dialogs are:
- saving a unsaved document in gedit
- closing a terminal with a running proces, eg 'top' |
