2013-06-27 19:25:46 Edwin Pujols summary Super+S shortcut description does not explains its purpose Super+S shortcut description does not explain its purpose
2013-06-27 19:32:34 Edwin Pujols description As the titles says. If you open the Keyboard Shortcuts Overlay (holding Super), the description for Super+S reads "Switches between workspaces." Though what this key combination really does, is to open the workspace switcher (or "expands" the workspaces, as you prefer). I consider this is a ui bug, since the description doesn't really explain the purpose of Super+S. Imagine a user trying to switch workspaces by pressing Super+S over and over, until she realizes the right combination is "Ctrl+Alt+Left or Right". This extends to translations too (I noticed it while doing translations). I propose this description be changed to "Opens the workspaces switcher." or "Shows the workspaces in a grid.", or something more descriptive than the current "Switches between workspaces." *What is expected* That the description of every key combination be descriptive to that key combination. *What happens* The description of Super+S is not descriptive to its related action (at least not in the desktop version).
