Bug Description

The problem is that searching for something in one lens doesn't help when changing to another lense (it requires retyping).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on the dash and type for instance "performous"
2. You realise that you are not in the apps lens and change context and the word "performous" is not there, the dash comes up with a fresh search box instead of looking for "performous" straight away

I think the search box should be common to all the lenses instead of having a different one for each lense. Imagine this behavior on a phone, typing the same stuff again would be utterly annoying.

I agree. The search box should behave like it's common and universal for all lenses.

Why did you mark this bug as incomplete, do you need anything else from me?

Maybe the process changed with the new "Ubuntu UX" project, but bugs that need input from design are marked incomplete (and a bug task for "Ayatana Design" added) until they respond, so that's what I did :)

Why incomplete, has the behaviour changed?
