Unity Dash maximize button does nothing when clicked (instead, the Dash closes)

When the Dash is opened, the maximize button fails to change the form factor.

I have noticed as well that the dconf entry for the Unity form factor is missing. This could be related to it. Is this a known issue or a planned change?
