Bug Description

When I change keyboard shortcuts (such as changing desktops) via the keyboard settings in system preferences, they are not preserved across restarts.

A bit of additional information. I *believe* if you logout/restart/reboot by clicking the icon in the top right and using the menu, the navigation shortcuts are preserved. If you restart by any other method, IE, reboot, init 6, shutdown, etc then the navigational shortcuts are wiped. I'll update this if I find out to the contrary but so far that's what I've found.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. We have tried to recreate this on the latest release of Ubuntu, but cannot reproduce it. This bug is being marked as Invalid. If you believe the problem to still exist in the latest version of Ubuntu, please comment on why that is the case and change the bug status to NEW.

Interestingly, keyboard shortcuts forswitching workspaces don't seem to work.
