Bug Description

If autohide is selected, the launcher can never be re-displayed by putting the mouse into the "reveal" area - I've tried "restore default behaviour", changing the reveal location and sensitivity to no avail. However, as soon as I disable autohide, the launcher re-appears and works as expected.

This is a behavioural regression.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This particular bug has already been reported and is a duplicate of bug 1057000, so it is being marked as such. Please look at the other bug report to see if there is any missing information that you can provide, or to see if there is a workaround for the bug. Additionally, any further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report. Feel free to continue to report any other bugs you may find.

@Ayzen: If you're using nvidia drivers too, you should make sure that the version of nvidia-current is 304.51.really.304.43-0ubuntu1 (run 'apt-cache policy nvidia-current' in terminal to see the version). Also note that if you're using the drivers from nvidia-current-updates package, you have a version which has this bug (304.51-0ubuntu1).

The bug 1057000 has a workaround listed for those who want to keep using nvidia version 304.51-0ubuntu1 (see comment #37) and reveal their autohidden launcher with mouse.
