[regression] Dash - search hint is missing on dash home after login

1. login to Ubuntu
2. open the dash

What happens:
The dash searchbar is empty with no hint 'Search'

What should happen:
'Search' hint should be there.

If you open another lens and then get back to home lens then there is 'Search'
