Unity Launcher icon size settings not applied

Bug Description

Before upgrading to 12.10, launcher icon size was 32

After upgrading, it's 48.

Opening the display settings panel shows a size of 32 px

whenever i change this setting from 32 to anythying else, icons in the launcher stay at 48

As explained before, changing the setting by the slider in the Appearance > Look panel doesn't work

But, when using ccsm (Unity plugin > Experimental tab), it works. icons are resized
