Bug Description

With dual displays, the Skype incoming call window is completely hidden and you can't switch to it or bring it to the forefront. You see it if you do Super-S but no matter what you do you can't get it into focus to answer calls.

so the issue does not happen in a single monitor setup?

Correct, it shows up fine with a single monitor.

I just discovered this bug under rather the worst possible circumstances after upgrading to 12.04 LTS.

As I was receiving a work-related daily conference call from my coleagues I had to bashfully admit via text messages that I couldn't pick up the voice call as I couldn't find anything to actually click on... although I could hear the call ringing.

You can imagine the comments from the other end like "Yeah... Linux... why don't you install a real OS?" and "Is Unity really that bad?" stuff like that. All the stereotypes about Linux confirmed as far as the non-linux users on the call are concerned.
Also... totally embarasing professionaly for me.

I hate to say it, but this really a Unity-killing bug for me. If I can't use Skype on a dual screen, I can't use Unity. Because I need both. Giving up 50% of my screen real estate is not an option. Giving up skype isn't either.

So I probably will have to switch back to 'Gnome classic'. Too bad really, I could probably get used to and grow to like Unity eventually. But looks like it is really not an option for me until this bug is fixed.

Anyhoo.. I hope this little anecdote can amuse you all... and maybe help quantify the severity of this bug which I see is still set to 'undecided'. I'd vote 'Critical' = 'Major loss of functionality'.

Keep up the good work :-)
