This just happened after I lost the window border in 12.10 alpha 3 while working with Microsoft Word under Wine and launching "unity --replace &" from the command line to get the window border back...

I think I've hit the same bug 1158514

I notice one of the dups says they were dragging and dropping at the time. I was doing the same and this is the crash related to dragging: bug 1158507 - so they may be related?

Also is 1055172 a dup of this?

This is a rather old bug that was submitted against a now unsupported release. Looking at the last bug that was dup'ed to this one, that bug was against 13.10. It appears the crash has been fixed by at 14.04, so I'm going to mark it as such.

If this does still occur, we can either reopen this bug report or open a new one.
