freezes my system

On Ubuntu 14.04 Telegram froze my system 3 times. Had to hard reboot.
I'm staying away till an update.

Maybe it's because I'm using kernel 3.13.6. That's not standard the kernel of Trusty.

Hi,

Have the same issue, it works perfect on my laptop 32 bit but on my desk 64 bit the webapps freezes the complete computer and I need to hard reset by pulling the plug. So for the moment I use bookmarks and Firefox for Linkedin and G+, sad I miss the icons in the panel showing that I have messages and so on...

system freezes completely, requiring a hard reboot once i click the "start messaging" button.

i don't know what other relevant info i can provide. worked so so on my 64 bit install netbook. so so because it would run, but crash very frequently, especially on alt-tabbing, to or out of it. often even clicking for it to appear on docky, but that for another bug report.
