New launcher icon needed for Google branding update

The icon used for the Google+ web app on the Wily desktop is now outdated, since Google recently updated their branding typography and replaced their signature G in many of their app icons. See screenshot for a side-by-side comparison.

Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) reached end-of-life on April 29, 2021.

Should have been closed as 'Won't Fix'.
