Bug Description

unity-system-compositor --debug-without-dm

fails to start due to:

ERROR: /build/unity-system-compositor-Z26sU0/unity-system-compositor-0.8.0+17.04.20161206/src/dbus_connection_handle.cpp(66): Throw in function void usc::DBusConnectionHandle::request_name(const char*) const
Dynamic exception type: boost::exception_detail::clone_impl<boost::exception_detail::error_info_injector<std::runtime_error> >
std::exception::what: dbus_request_name: Failed to become primary owner

I would have thought that's what the debug option is there to work around.

Workaround: systemctl stop lightdm
