After logging into a Google account and authorising the YouTube scope, if you reboot the phone, the YouTube scope does not surface any results on first invocation (i.e. the first time its opened form the Dash Manager, or if it is favourited, when it is initialised during the boot sequence). |
After logging into a Google account and authorising the YouTube scope, if you reboot the phone, the YouTube scope does not surface any results on first invocation (i.e. the first time its opened form the Dash Manager, or if it is favourited, when it is initialised during the boot sequence).
To reproduce:
1. Favorite the YouTube scope.
2. Navigate to System Settings -> Accounts.
3. If there is already a Google account there, open it and tap "Remove account...", then tap "Remove" on the prompt that appears.
4. At this point you'll need to wait for the YouTube scope to close in the background (30s is safe).
5. Now from the Accounts page, select Add account -> Google.
6. Log in to your Google account, then tap "Accept" on the next page that appears.
7. The log-in page should close and return to the Accounts page.
8. Tap on the newly created Google account.
9. Enable "YouTube" by tapping the grey X next to the entry (slides right to the green tick).
10. Reboot the phone.
11. Unlock the phone once booted, and you'll notice an Online Accounts loading page pop up for a moment, then disappear.
12. Scroll over to the YouTube scope.
EXPECTED:
The YouTube scope is displaying its surfacing results (Including the "Log-in to YouTube result at the bottom).
ACTUAL:
The YouTube scope shows no results at all. |
