selecting an article from the scope fails to display the article

Bug Description
Running r67
The Wikipedia scope correctly displays a series of featured articles. When tapping on one of the articles, a new screen is displayed, a progress bar bounces along the bottom edge for several seconds, and then nothing happens.
On occasion the article is displayed, but it fails to display > 50% of the time. I'm on a good wifi connection.
Expected behaviour? the article is displayed.
