Bug Description
Adding media to the phone via mtp correctly emits signals in mediascanner which get picked up by the scope and updates the UI, but removing media doesn't get picked up by the scope and doesn't update the UI, although after a search the removed media disappear, we should be striving for similar experience as when adding media.

Hmmm... I assume it is the dash that realises when songs are added, seeing that the scope isn't around most of the time.
But, seeing that the scope can be updated automatically when songs are added, I don't see why it couldn't also be updated when songs are removed.
