V 1.5.2.4 crashes on startup - name 'sys' is not defined

To reproduce just start the application, either from command line or any other way.

Not sure if related but the previous version seemed to work except there were no notifications when a new mail arrived (sound, number of unread messages, etc - all worked ok).
