Just got this crashreport without doing anything. I didn't use the video-lens nor had I used it before (this session).

I don't know what happened. I was using another computer on my desk, and looked over at this one and saw the error, so it occurred without my intervention.

I was also not doing anything connected to the video lens - I had just sent an email and happened to notice the crash icon in the launcher - I am not sure at which point the crash happened - I had left the machine to it's own devices while I went shopping. At no point did I actually go near the dash or any lens...

I notice that the crash is in unity-scope-video-remote, which is concerning as online search results are disabled in System Settings.

this seems to happen to whatever version of ubuntu or linux mint/cinnamon that I use. Maybe its systemic of my laptop...after I run the apport stop script in term it runs fine with no other errors and my video continues to work as advertised. please fix this annoying problem
