Bug Description

on Ubuntu 12.04.1 amd64

I often hit this bug, but not always. So i try to explain how to reproduce this bug:

1) Uncheck 'start background service on log in' from Edit > Preferences
2) Reboot PC

Then crash report appears to me. May be the reason of this crash is because I disabled Ubuntu Accomplishment demon at startup, but Ubuntu Accomplishment Lens try to start.

Unfortunately I cannot report my bug when crash report comes, because it does not work

In my case it does not crash at startup but some time while working (2 times it happened when closing a browser window) my X server freezes completely and after reboot apport tells me that accomplishments lens has crashed.

Martin, I'm not sure your freeze is directly related to the lens. Looks like one of the library the lens is using is killed by the crash, then this kills the lens.

Thank you for pointing out this possible cause. However, I can draw a relation from installing accomplishments and X-lockups. I installed accomplishments + lens only last monday and since then about 3 lockups of the same type (on a canonical-certified hardware). Uninstalled all accomplishments modules now and I will see if the lockups are gone then.
