Not a very important change IMHO (relative to where we are in the release cycle), but let's see what the doc team says about this. I didn't see a response yet.

summary: - Fade username labels to give carousel effect
+ UIFE: Fade username labels to give carousel effect

I don't think that this aspect of the login process has been previously documented by the docs team, so I see no conflict.

+1 from docs.

This bug was fixed in the package unity-greeter - 0.1.1-0ubuntu1

unity-greeter (0.1.1-0ubuntu1) oneiric; urgency=low

  * New upstream release:
    - Stop loading indicators in a thread - they don't seem thread safe
    - Fade usernames so it looks more like a carousel (LP: #860246)
    - Darken indicator background so they are easier to read (LP: #860243)
