Bug Description
The spinner indicator displayed during the authentication process is broken: it doesn't animate.
This is particularly apparent when using a remote authentication mechanism with a high latency.
This is apparently an underlying GTK+ issue, but I file the issue here as it affects the greeter particularly.

bah launchpad timeout and then clean packages when it shouldn't, that should be fixed in GTK 3.6 which is the beta2 freeze queue and should be accepted in the next days
