I'm requesting design input on how this should work with keyboard navigation (i.e. how does a keyboard user know what is selected).

I'm currently assuming you want keyboard navigation to continue to show a border around it. That you only want to disable the mouseover border. But I'd just like to clarify that.

Then, how would a user notice that the session change button is clickable? Because then, the button might be confused with a decorative logo.
