Bug Description

When I launch a Webapp in Chromium, if I do not already have a Chromium instance running then I receive a series of plugin crash notifications in the Webapp window. Restarting these plugins (by clicking on notification) only leads to more plugin crashes. If I open a plain Chromium window, however, the plugin crashes stop.

[test case]

1. Make sure no instance of Chromium is running (killall chromium-browser)
2. Launch a webapp by clicking on launcher icon
3. Webapp window opens and site loads
4. Almost immediately a series of plugin crash notifications appears in bottom-right corner of Webapp window

On Ubuntu 12.10 running both on 64-bit and 32-bit desktop systems. The 64-bit system has plenty of memory (8 Gb).
