GMail doesn't show in the Messaging Menu

Bug Description
I have opened Chromium and went to GMail and then I clicked on the "Integrate" button.
What I expect to see:
GMail icon in the launcher and in the Messaging Menu. From the latter, I should see GMail well integrated.
What happens instead:
GMail does show in the launcher but not in the Messaging Menu.
