12.04 left panel not hiding

Bug Description

Hello, I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 unity-2d 5.4.0-0ubuntu1. If some application has multiple windows (pidging or gnome-terminal in my case) and I tap icon on left panel twice it shows "expose" effect but after choosing any (maximized) window panel is not disappearing until logout.

Only in unity 2d, does not affect 3d.
