Bug Description

Running Unity2D in a Virtual Box instance. 3D acceleration is enabled, and virtualbox guest additions are installed to enable some OpenGL support.

Run "unity-2d-launcher -opengl" to enable the OpenGL renderer.

It crashes with the following error output:

unity-2d-launcher: [WARNING] Vertex shader for simpleShaderProg (MainVertexShader & PositionOnlyVertexShader) failed to compile
unity-2d-launcher: [WARNING] Fragment shader for simpleShaderProg (MainFragmentShader & ShockingPinkSrcFragmentShader) failed to compile
unity-2d-launcher: [WARNING] QGLShaderProgram: shader programs are not supported
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I'll attach backtrace to this bug report.

I created a virtual box instance, enabled 3d acceleration and installed guest additions but still can't get it to crash, not sure if opengl is "properly" enabled though, any idea how to make sure it is?
