Bug Description

Step 0: Delete your desktop folder? I don't have a ~/Desktop folder, so my nautilus desktop background actually shows the contents of my home directory (/home/alan).

Step 1: Follow the steps to reproduce Bug #875658. The Ubuntu One folder will appear on my desktop, with a green tick.

Step 2: Delete the Ubuntu One folder on the desktop.

Actual result: desktop environment crashes, booting me back to the login screen.

Expected result: my desktop environment should not crash during normal operation.
