Bug Description
Sometime after starting and using Libre Office in Windows, I lose the Unity launcher and Taskbar from view.
Once this happens, I can take the mouse cursor to the extremes and pick applications by guessing and moving slowly but even if I guess correctly where the shutdown menu is, it won't log me out or shut me down. Only once I get a terminal (Ctrl+alt+f2) can I use sudo shutdown -r now to reboot and start again.
If anyone can recommend the correct log files to upload, I would be grateful
Thanks

I hope I'm posting this in the right bug report.
I have 228 ubuntu 12.04 machines, running unity 2D (Atom N2600 :-(, so still no 3D support ) and libreoffice latest from ppa:libreoffice/ppa with this problem.
It's easy to reproduce and repair, just very annoying: start libreoffice writer, select some text, change the color and the launcher is gone.
To get it back, click on the power button and click on cancel when asked to shut down. The launcher is back.
