If you make unetbootin-linux-377 executable (using the command chmod +x ./unetbootin-linux), then start the application, it aborts saying:

./unetbootin-linux-377: error while loading shared libraries: libpng12.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

On OpenSuse 11.3 amd64 this error is like this:

******@****:~/Downloads> ./unetbootin-linux-494
./unetbootin-linux-494: error while loading shared libraries: libpng12.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any comment?

I fix this error on OpenSuse 11.3 amd64 after I install this (http://software.opensuse.org/ymp/openSUSE:11.3/standard/libpng12-0-32bit.ymp?base=openSUSE%3A11.3&query=libpng) LIBPNG12.0 lib for x32 sys.

Now, UNetbootin works!

For reference, if you get the error

./unetbootin-linux-575: error while loading shared libraries: libpng12.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The fix is to install ia32-libs (assuming you're running Ubuntu 64-bit):

sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
