The Windows 7 iso doesn't contain a Linux kernel or initrd file, hence naturally they aren't detected and copied to the USB drive as such; this is expected behavior. I suppose a warning should be shown when no kernel or initrd files are found in the iso file to avoid such confusion, but that belongs in a separate bug report.
