Bug Description

While installing xpud to an USB drive, the installation was really quick... and so I found it suspicious (50Mo). The installer could not connect to the internet (on a hotspot before authentication) but it said everything was fine, installed a few files to the USB drive and offered to reboot.

I bumped into this as well.

In my case I have a mobile broadband HSDPA usb-device andit was only "registered" not "connected" at the time when UNetbootin (rev 471) was run. The install appeared to install fine (no complaints) rebooted and ended up with "file not found" error when chosing the unetbootin entry.

The "file not found" error should if anything happen at install time, to notify a user of the missing internet connection, not leave them scratching their head only after rebooted into console.
