2013-12-01 05:04:16 TomSands description Hallo Geza, I am using unetbootin 575 and tried to frugally install Linux Mint 16. I cann install it, but when I reboot, I cna see the Linux Mint logo, but then there is an error message saying that some system files cannot be located. PLEASE fix this and make unetbootin frugally install and boot Linux Mint 16, as I had been using Linux Mint 15 on a frugal install without issues! THANK YOU A LOT in advance! Tom Hallo Geza, I am using unetbootin 575 and tried to frugally install Linux Mint 16. I can frugally install Linux Mint 16 using unetbootin, but when I reboot, after seeing the Linux Mint logo, there suddenly appears an error message saying that some system files cannot be located. I think unetbootin does not know where all the relevant Linux Mint files are, so that it cannot locate or extract/load them. I am really frustrated, as I had been waiting for linux mint 16 for months, only to find out that unetbootin does not support it! But it is the second most popular linux distribution after ubuntu. So it would be a pity, if it didn't work. And I suppose Ubuntu saucy salamander would also not work at the moment with the current unetbootin, at least! Therefore: PLEASE fix this and make unetbootin frugally install and boot Linux Mint 16, as I had been using Linux Mint 15 on a frugal install without issues! THANK YOU A LOT in advance! Tom
