Bug Description
antiX-13-beta2 is available here: http://
Unetbootin makes a bootable usb from it but our gfxboot menus are disabled which is
somewhat crippling and makes the Unebootin version hard to use.
I will be glad to make whatever changes need to be made on the antiX side to make it
possible for antiX-13 LiveUSBs made with Unetbootin to be fully functional.
We've customized gfxboot so it better integrates with the antiX LiveUSB. For example
we provide a "Save" menu option in the bootloader that allows users to save their
current bootloader menu settings and their current typed-in boot parameters as well.
We support both Grub and isolinux bootloaders on our iso.
I tested using syslinux on fat32 to make a LiveUSB and it worked perfectly, menus and all. I copied over the contents of our iso to a fat32 partition, renamed /boot/isolinux to /boot/syslinux and then renamed all isolinux.* files to syslinux.*. I ran syslinux -i -d /boot/syslinux $DEVICE and was able to boot and all our menus and special features worked.
