Bug Description
Hello. I'm the maintainer of the openmamba GNU/Linux distribution and here is a patch to add support for this distribution.
Altough it relies on a singular mechanism based on installing an additional cpio.gz bootusb archive we distribute, I made the patch to be not invasive. Currently it requires the USB device to be ext* formatted, so the openmamba menu choice will only be available on linux builds.
I would like to ask for upstream integration and I'm available to discuss any issues that might need to be fixed with this patch.

Attaching a slightly modified patch with the following changes:
- force overwrite of files extracted from bootusb archive
- add support for x86_64 livecd
