Bug Description
Under Windows 7 x64 and possibly other environments, when presented with a disk having a GUID partition table (describing a single FAT32 partition) rather than a traditional PC BIOS partition table, unetbootin 581 does not recognize this and installs the standard non-GUID-aware SYSLINUX MBR to the device, resulting in a nonbootable device.
To reproduce this, a GUID partition table may be created using gdisk or gptfdisk under Linux, or diskpart.efi under Windows.

I saw this bug too: I created a GUID partition table with gparted of Ubuntu 12.04 by choosing "gpt". Then I ran UNetbootin which terminated successfully. But the USB stick was not bootable afterwards.
