Bug Description
I am running Win7 64-bit and trying to install to a SanDisk 16GB SD card via a USB adapter. The installation of the bootable installer works and I am able to boot from the USB adapter that holds the SD card. However, during the install, it fails during the extraction of zlib1g and gives the following error: "Failure trying to run: chroot /target /sbin /ldconfig. I am trying to do a "net install" of Debian but it does exactly the same thing if I try to do a "net install" of Ubantu. When I tried to use a downloaded iso of Debian instead, it failed at the point where it wanted to create the initial sector. I am completely new to Linux so none of this makes sense to me at this point. I am, as suggested in the install, letting it use the entire drive and a single sector for the install. It does show that it wants to create the primary sector of size 15GB and a swap sector of something like 600MB. Just as a data point, I was able to successfully use win32diskimager to burn Raspbian to an SD card for my new Raspberry Pi using the same USB adapter.
