Bug Description

Feedback from user testing
--------------------------

Long press on the map doesn't do anything until I release, which is terrible; it violates Least Surprise TWICE. First, I think it doesn't work, feel disappointment, release finger. Then suddenly it does work, after I've already become accustomed to it not working and I had already abandoned that action in my head, and now I have to go back to it again

Solution
--------

We need to show the marker when the user long-presses for 1-2 seconds..we shouldn't wait for the user to release before showing the marker. FYI this is also what other map apps do.

I'll play a bit with this. I'm afraid that there isn't a solution. Even the
current solution is a hack of the jquery events and I don't like to have so
several hacks, so complicate to control :(

Hmm that's a pity. Can html5 really not distinguish between single-click, double-click, and long-press events? I find that rather strange.

Let's not rush this. Let think of a better solution in 0.60.
