Bug Description

Attempt to reload never complete execution:

    $ sudo ufw disable
    [never return to the prompt; have to cancel C-c ]
    ^CTraceback (most recent call last):
    [...]
        stdout = self.stdout.read()
    KeyboardInterrupt

Nothing is written in,

  - log files: `/var/log/ufw, syslog, messages`
  - `journalctl -xe` for references to `ufw`
  - `htop` for `ufw`

I reinstalled `sudo apt reinstall ufw`.

Thanks for reporting a bug (sorry I only just saw this now). Are you still seeing this issue? Can you give more information?

Is this happening under ssh? Have you tried logging in with ssh -t (note that 'ufw disable' should not be prompting and therefore hanging on lack of a terminal)?

ufw implements a lock mechanism-- is there another command running in the background?
