Any idea when we can get this resolved? couchdb is an important package for Ubuntu One. Thanks.

@dobey lp:ubuntu/couchdb seems to now be up to date, with the last commit actually being today. Some of the others are still failing with different errors.

@Rodney: It seems to me that couchdb is imported successfully now, can you confirm ?

Vincent Ladeuil (vila) wrote :

So, from http://package-import.ubuntu.com/status/:

- camlp5, directb, djvulibre, elfutils are now blocked on bug # 653220,
- couchdb is imported successfully,
- listen oprofile python-bsddb3 vim are now the ones blocked by this bug.

I've requeued the later.

A brief investigation leaves me confused: DistributionBranch.upstream_parents calls get_parents and extracts a pull_branch and pull_version from the list of results. It then fails to fetch the revision_id for pull_version.upstream_version from pull_branch. So either upstream_parents is wrong in assuming that it should be able to do that fetch, or get_parents is wrong for returning a pull_branch and pull_version where the revision for the upstream_version isn't available. I don't know the code well enough to say which is the case.

I'd like to use the vim packaging branch for daily / source builds, but this bug prevents this.
