Bug Description

I am running Karmic Beta version of Ubuntu on a Dell Optiplex MiniTower. I am attempting to use UCK. I have downloaded several Ubuntu ISO'S, including Jaunty, and Karmic, and each time I run UCK, I get the same results:

File /home/peter/Desktop/ubuntu-9.10-beta-desktop-i386.iso does not seem to be a valid ISO9660 image

Un-installed Synaptic's version of UCK and downloaded / installed Debian package from UCK's website....same problem
