grub-probe still fails when generating initrd

This is to reopen https://bugs.launchpad.net/uck/+bug/956495

Kernel does not install properly because of grub-probe when new kernel is available.

Overcame the problem temporariliy with http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~estobuntu/estobuntu/estobuntu-remaster/revision/515?remember=517&compare_revid=517

Actually, that wasn't the best possible fix. Please revert my last patch. And then apply the attached patch, which also fixes #1021027.
