Bug Description

ubuntustudio-controls is both hackish and out of date. A new version is being worked on, and releasing without it is unacceptable.

As of Ubuntu Studio 15.04 it still calls for gksu package to gain elevated privileges. The package isn't included in the distro and new users aren't likely to think to look for it.

Considering the age of this bug and that Ubuntu Studio Controls has undergone several revisions since this bug was made, I'm marking this as "Fix Released". The versions of Ubuntu Studio in question in this bug report are long-since EOL.
