Brian, the verification is simple:

1. Open ubuntustudio-installer
2. Check to see if ubuntustudio-gnome-branding is an option for installation.
  - if NO, verification-done
  - if YES, bug still exists

I made the change in the description to outline that. Since there still seems to be confusion, I have further updated it.
