Bug Description

Running Windows client under Wine would be useful to use Ubuntu One in KDE or in non-Ubuntu GNU/Linux distributions.
When I do this, Ubuntu One crashes with that error:

---------------------------
Ubuntu One experienced an error
---------------------------
Sorry, an error has occurred and Ubuntu One needs to close.
---------------------------

AttributeError
"'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get_rootdir'"

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping us improve Ubuntu One!

Sadly, we don't test or support running Ubuntu One under Wine. The current client is Qt-based so it should look nicely at home
in KDE, specially if you start it with the --with-icon option to replace some of the missing unity integration.

Likewise, we don't test or support Ubuntu One in other linux distros, but we are happy to help anyone packaging it for any of them.

So, my suggestion is to use the Linux version of Ubuntu One on Linux, unless someone is willing to invest the effort to test and debug it on WINE.
