Folders not syncing (office files)

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit, SP2)
PC: Asus F5GL

I can successfully sync individual files and folders containing no sub-folders. However when I try to sync a folder containing sub-folders, mainly office (word/excel) files the system attempts to sync but does not appear to see this folder, nothing is uploaded, neither the files nor the folder or folder structure.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu One better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu One since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on an updated version an let us know if the problem is still present.

1. I reinstalled all the ubuntu-one files on both the ubuntu and windows machines.
2. Mint 11 and Windows Vista SP2
3. On first run from the ubuntu end, I uploaded to the cloud a large number of files from ~/Documents/XXX/YYY. These were successfully synched to a subfolder of Users on the windows end. So far, so good. BUT...
4. Changes to an odt file in YYY are NOT synched to the cloud.
5. Now put the same odt in a small subfolder ~/Documents/XXX/YYY/ZZZ and it IS synched to the cloud.
6. CHANGES in the cloud do NOT show up on the windows end.
7. Size of YYY folder is about 5 Mbyte with > 100 items. ZZZ is much smaller (in case that matters.)

This is a update of my comment from yesterday. Synch from ubuntu (Mint 11) now works very well. Individual changed files are synched to the cloud within seconds. Unfortunately, synch from cloud to windows vista is erratic. Files in the Ubuntu One folder synch overnight, others not at all. The worst part is that the Ubuntu One client displays messages that the synch is OK or completed when in fact the opposite is true.
