What URL do you have for syncing in Tomboy's preferences? Also, can you run 'tomboy --debug' to get more debugging information?

Also, a backup-folder inside my Ubuntu one - Folder is still completley
empty on the server, i started the backups on my local machine via "Simple
Backup" over one week ago, what produced 10 folders (local in my
ubunt-one-folder) in the mean time ..?

So, maybe, this 'meets' my filed bug?

hmm, I'd say your tokens are invalid, and that's why you get the 404 NOT FOUND, and also, if syncdaemon is not synchronizing, it seems to that's it. Do you have the Ubuntu One tokens in your keyring (check with seahorse)?

Ouh, thanks for your time and awarness!

I'm anxious now, that these things are getting too complex for me.

See, i set up 2 Computers on lucid. My lenovo S10 netbook. And the IBM T42
Notebook for my wife.

Slowly, i begun preferring the big Notebook for my every-day-stuff.
So the day, when i tried to install a second account (for myself) on the
T42, big problems with ubuntu one appeared. Spend some time on this, some
weeks ago. After ubuntu one has been disappeared, as well on my T42-account
as like from the first account, my wifes. I thought, maybe its only allowed
one ubuntu one account per installation. On my netbook, i used to sign in
to ubuntu one in karmic times. My wife never used it up to today(ubuntu
one).

So, i deleted the second account on T42. (incl. work-data-lost ..) - but
even than, no way to access any ubuntu one from my wifes T42-account. But:
Over night, the magic happend:

ubuntu one was there again. So I didn't even think about starting a
ubuntuone-registration for my wife. Was just happy, that it seemed as like
if I could sync the two machines over the cloud for my personal stuff...

But now:
I uploaded Tomboy from S10.
Made a new note online, using T42.
Waiting for it to appear on S10.

All this wired stuff happend on the big machine! Now the small one is also
affected?

See, the --debug output was from S10.
Now i have a disgusting complicated security-token problem on both of our
machines? The one which occured on T42 when things were so messy, it now ..?

Seahorse ion S10 shows me (under Passwords):

*UbuntuOne token for https://ubuntuone.com *

Isn't that good?

But:

P.S:

On the other hand, the backups are from Thinkpad T42, stored locally in a
folder called "backup T42" inside the ubuntuone-folder. So online, i can see
a folder "backup T42" - but no content ..

On the T42 too, seahorse shows a ubuntuone - token.
?
.. sorry for my little English.

Strange - today, there is no ubuntuone-token on ThinkPadT42 anymore?

But getting the Tomboy notes synct from the server went well. There, on T42.

?

On ideapadS10, there is still the token, and starting the ubuntu one - client looks good, after a little while my account is displayed, also the connected machines (T42 & S10), the percentage of used memory and somthing like "synchronization is finished" - maybe to mention: I've to new-start the connection by clicking the button each time i open the client.

But Tomboy: No. Doesn't get the notes from the server. I get an error-msg which tells me to check the details and to try again -but there aren't any details shown after clicking the details-button. Tried several times.

Actually i don't find good explanations what a "token" means or is in german. Suppose, its kind of a PGP-key .. ?
How can it disappear? Can you do this? Did you?

On T42 seahorse seems like starting the first time.
