Currently it is not possible to delete folder, neither empty one nor with all the files/folders it contains. One can only create new folders. Also renaming objects is not possible.

Deleting folders (with the exception of shares) empty of not is available in the web UI.
Renaming files/folders is currently not an option though.

So just to clarify, if i create ~/Documents/totally-crap-name-but-bad-luck-you-are-stuck-with-it and share it, there is no way to rename this shared folder? If I rename it in the filesystem ubuntu one will not realize it is a renamed? As a user that seems like fundamental functionality to me certainly on my wishlist. I hit this issue after one day of using ubuntu one.
