Oauth confirmation w/o subscription should redirect nicely

Cannot reach the dialog "Confirm Device Access" at step 4 when I start Ubuntu One. Instead Firefox immediately is redirected to https://ubuntuone.com/plans/
The process ubuntuone-client-applet is however running at do_poll in System Monitor. Same thing happens if I start
$ ubuntuone-client-applet --signup
from the terminal.

This is correct behavior. You do not have a subscription to the file sharing service, and so authorizing your computer would have no effect.

Josh, can you fix the Installation page to talk about this more, and explain that a subscription is required? Thanks!

knut: Sorry about the confusion! Just like Rodney mentioned, you'll need a subscription to move forward.

As a workaround, until I make this work nicer:

1. Kill the ubuntuone-client-applet
2. Go to http://ubuntuone.com/plans/ and subscribe to one of the plans
3. Run: Applications » Internet » Ubuntu One
4. You should now see the "add this computer" button, after confirming with the button, Ubuntu One should be all setup and ready to go :)
