web client usability issue, creating directory trees

Earlier I was trying to create the following directory tree manually using the web client, one folder after the other like so:

projects
   --shell-scripts
      --gconfdb_tweaker
         --0.1
         --0.2

I noticed that it took too many clicks to access newly created directories.

They are first highlighted blue, but you then have to click away from the folder and then click back to it again to be able to access and create a new sub-folder in that directory.

I believe this bug is related to #394730
